NightLight – Data Deletion Instructions

NightLight does not create user accounts or store any personal data on external servers. All app data is stored locally on your own device.

What data the app stores

• Trusted contact info: phone number and name you save in the app.
• Reported locations: dark, light, or safe area markers you add.
• Location data: used temporarily to show your position or for SMS sharing (not stored).
• Purchase information: subscription validation tokens (not personally identifiable).

How to delete your data

You can delete all app data at any time by doing either of the following:

1. Uninstall the NightLight app

Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data from your device.

2. Clear the app's storage

On Android:
Settings → Apps → NightLight → Storage → Clear storage

On iOS:
Settings → General → iPhone Storage → NightLight → Delete App
